The days following the visit I drafted up the concept design to bring back to my Team and start collaborating on the design documents.
Below are a few design renderings drafted by fellow designer Clayton Glasser~ also in collaboration with designer Charles Lawson. The 3 of us worked on bringing this vision to life over 3 months at Food Forest Abundance where we met on-line weekly to co-create the design.
The premise of the show was a couple from California who had enough of the lifestyle there, and wanted to live a simpler life free from the hustle and bustle of the city. To become more sovereign and self reliant, and grow nutrient dense food, and build community with the abundance created by their efforts. See the episode HERE
I created the design for the show with designers Clayton Glasser & Charles Laswon. We addressed the fact that we would start off the property for a farmhand to help maintain the land, and in the future develop, so that community could join with their own homestead, and also contribute to a single cause.

And a beautiful spa-like backyard garden with healing medicinals for behind the cabin:
Season one was a huge success and one of award through Carbon TV and they are currently planning their second season.
