2024 was a challenging, yet empowering, year~ a theme of refinement.  A widening of vision, an undercurrent of alignment.  Celebrating some accomplishments from the past year as I sit and call in 2025...

Presented at 4 festivals : @midwestpreparednessproject in Kansas,  @Radmycofest, in Oregon, where I met 2 influential authors that changed my perception of life, Peter McCoy & Gerald Pollack. @kootenayresiliencefestival to talk on food sovereignty. @trochuarboretum for Alberta Farm Days.

Presented to the Horticulture Students @oldscollege on alternative career paths in Permaculture.

Attended 2 conferences @acresusa conference on Regenerative Agriculture and the @albertanativeplantcouncil  conference.

Created over 170 new relationships for for our strategic partnership network.  We are on boarding our partners and showcasing them on our website and in our newsletters~

Attended 6 board meetings and networking forums, @organicalberta, @sait Urban Forestry &  joined @bowriverbasincouncil. Our COO, Graham Towerton joined the board for Great Rivers and Lakes Permaculture Institute.

For travel; Dominican Republic for a much needed reset after closing Conjunction Gardens. Florida to shoot a second TV show, Kansas to Design a Permaculture Demonstration site and Festival Grounds, Oregon for Mycofest, Chicago & Wisconsin for Acres USA, 8 trips back and forth to BC for Hot Springs farm tours, site visits, and time with family and friends.

• Working on projects slated to occur this year ~ California, Florida, Spain, Central America, South America, Ontario, Edmonton, Vancouver Island
• Networking with policy makers for broad acre and urban change
• Consulting for individuals & organizations
• Collaborating with other Regenerative businesses offering our design team  services.
• Hosting my own podcast from my cozy home
• Feel the pulse of degraded lands and abandoned orchards in Canada
• Get that much closer to another piece of paradise to steward.

We visited and recorded site visit material for 18 sites. So far, 8 site visit videos have been released and many are in the queue.

We have started a rumble channel and the videos are also posted to our YouTube channel. Please subscribe!

Lindsay continues mentoring a budding Permaculture designer on how to render digital design, and through this process creating course content to be offered in the future. Right now she is posting her tutorials for free and they are available for all for a limited time, so please do subscribe to the YouTube channel to get the benefit of those while they are free and accessible for all!

We have over 100 people in our Telegram chat group where we encourage conversations, questions, suggestions and shares~ a place to chat and connect with each other across the interwebs and our world!

We attended the Acres USA EcoAg Workshops, Conference and Tradeshow in the first week of December. We heard from and met with many experts in the regenerative agriculture space including Gabe Brown, John Kempf, Mark Shepard, Joel Salatin, Gary Zimmer and Matt Powers to name a few. Joel's moving closing address was simply inspirational including the back story on how he was invited to play a role in the USDA (you'll have to contact us for the details!). We will definitely be attending again in 2025.

We continued the series of monthly Live Events with Vine Permaculture and Cormac Harkin. We are sharing our knowledge of what to do each month in our own properties and giving examples for what you can do in your own gardens, farms and homes. It’s a wide-open conversation and anyone can join the chat and add to the energy and knowledge with ideas that can help people right away! Click on the image to watch the December edition!

We're about to head to California to do some site visit consultation and design work in January and we're planning a trip to Florida in February to meet new customers, do some site visits, present some short courses and talks and enjoy some warm weather!
